Listen to Me – The Liberal Dead Toronto After Dark Pubcast

goodmorningvietnam

A couple nights ago, I ventured into the world of podcasting, as I took part in a live “pubcast” for Dead Air: The Liberal Dead Podcast, which was recorded live at one of Toronto After Dark’s post screening pub nights. I’m acquainted with the show’s guest host Kirk Haviland and I thought that it would be fun to try out.

I’m one of the first of the show’s rotating guests and I talk briefly about my favourite film of the festival so far, how long I’ve been going, and even my foursquare habit.  My contribution lasts for the first 6 minutes of the show, before I quietly depart to make room for the directors and cast of Resolution.

This was my first time doing something like this and you can hear it in my voice as I often fumble through my words.  However, I thought I did a decent enough job and you can give it a listen by heading here.

About Sean Kelly -

Sean Patrick Kelly is a self-described über-geek, who has been an avid film lover for all his life. He graduated from York University in 2010 with an honours B.A. in Cinema and Media Studies and he likes to believe he knows what he’s talking about when he writes about film (despite occasionally going on pointless rants).
