Discussion: Premium Priced Midnight Tickets for Seven Psychopaths at TIFF12

I thought I would use a minor controversy today to kick off a new recurring post for this blog, which encourages discussion amongst readers.

So the official TIFF12 schedule was released today and something really stood out: One of the ten Midnight Madness films, Martin McDonagh's highly anticipated film Seven Psychopaths, was designated a premium screening.

One would assume that the screening was designated premium (which is twice the cost of a regular ticket) because the film boasts an all-star cast that includes Collin Farrell, Christopher Walken, Sam Rockwell, and Woody Harrelson.  That said, it is unusual to charge a premium price for a midnight screening, especially since the other nine (some of which has some star power) are regularly priced.

So, I want to hear from you.  What are your thoughts on the premium pricing for Seven Psychopaths?  Are you still going to see the midnight screening or are you now going to wait for its regular release?
