Sean Kelly

TIFF11: tiff♥r excellent scheduling tool.

The 2011 edition of the Toronto International Film Festival is only a week away and I have been working hard to come up with a film list in time for the sale of single tickets on Saturday morning.

As such, I thought that I would take the time to sing the praises of a tool that helped me create my schedule both this year and last.

tiff♥r is a website that allows you to create a shortlist of films directly from the TIFF website (using a bookmarklet you save onto your bookmarks bar).  These films are then placed on a schedule grid, where you can select the screenings you want to attend.

I don't know what I would do without this tool, since not only can I use the site to choose my main picks, but I can also see screenings at the same time that I use as alternates.  It's definitely worth checking out if you haven't already.

About Sean Kelly -

Sean Patrick Kelly is a self-described über-geek, who has been an avid film lover for all his life. He graduated from York University in 2010 with an honours B.A. in Cinema and Media Studies and he likes to believe he knows what he’s talking about when he writes about film (despite occasionally going on pointless rants).
