Sean Kelly

My Thoughts on Fast Five

If it wasn't for the fact that it was the debut feature of the reopened Humber Cinema, I would have likely skipped this fifth entry in the Fast and the Furious series, like I did with the previous four films.  That said, I can at least say that I was at least able to understand who everybody was and what was going on without too much knowledge about what happened before.

In fact, this film seems to be a bit more of a heist film than the previous entries, which was a bit more up my alley than straight-forward street racing plot.

For me the best part of the film was Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson as the federal agent after the main characters and it was always a joy whenever he was on screen.

For a film I wasn't particularly interested in, I still found myself somewhat entertained and it definitely worked somewhat as a mindless action flick.
