Sean Kelly

Sunday Afternoon Netflix Documentary: The Aristocrats

This week I watched the documentary about the infamous, and extremely dirty, joke.
I have been curious about seeing this film ever since it originally came out.  It has the very simple format involving interviewing many different comedians about the "Aristocrats" joke, which is typically an extremely vulgar improvised joke that comedians tell each other.

I thought that the different versions of the joke were interesting (and disgusting), however I didn't find myself laughing too much.  I suppose I would have had to seen the film with a crowd to get a proper reaction.  However, I did laugh at some of the latter versions of the joke involving the South Park characters and Gilbert Gottfried.

Overall, this was definitely an intriguing (to say the least) film.
