2010 Oscar Predictions

oscarlogoI have to say it was an interesting Oscar race.  Will the $2 billion grossing Hollywood blockbuster win the big prize or will it be a smaller independent war film.

These predictions are a little more to the point than previous years, but I will still give reasoning for the major categories.

All Predictions are underlined

  • Inglourious Basterds” Quentin Tarantino
  • Precious: Based on the Novel ‘Push' by Sapphire” Lee Daniels

  • Jeff Bridges in “Crazy Heart”
  • George Clooney in “Up in the Air”
  • in “A Single Man”
  • Morgan Freeman in “Invictus”

  • in “Invictus”
  • in “The Messenger”
  • Christopher Plummer in “The Last Station”
  • Stanley Tucci in “The Lovely Bones”
