Sean Kelly

Classic Thoughts: Naked Lunch

Naked Lunch is a film by David Cronenberg adapted from the William S. Burroughs novel.

I definitely say that it is one of the weirdest films Cronenberg has made. The plot, which involves drug hallucinations and writing makes it seem similar to Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, however the said hallucinations have more a sci-fi feel to them.

I also believe the point of the film is that you did not really what was real and what was not.

In the end, I have to say that it was a pretty messed up film (but still intriguing).
